Worcestershire’s Paralympic Swimmer Claire Cashmore, sponsored by Willow Resourcing, has successfully qualified for this year’s IPC Swimming World Championships to be held in Glasgow in July this year.
The qualifying standards set this year were much tougher than in recent years, meaning that only 14 athletes made the grade in last week’s trials. With 4 swimmers absent due to injury or illness, it means Great Britain will be taking an 18-strong squad to Glasgow in the summer. We are extremely proud that Claire has been selected as one of this elite group of athletes and look forward to supporting her and her teammates as they take on the World’s best later this year.
