Claire Cashmore qualifies for the IPC World Championships

Claire Cashmore, the swimming paralympian sponsored by Willow Resourcing, recently competed in the British International Disability Swimming Championships held at Ponds Forge in Sheffield with the aim of achieving the qualifying times for the IPC World Championships to be held in Montreal later this year.
Willow News
We’re delighted to report that Claire swam under the qualifying time in both the 100m breaststroke and the 200 Individual Medley and is therefore well on the way to securing her place on the plane to Montreal when the selectors meet to decide on who will represent GB in August. Given that we are still relatively early in the season and that Claire’s training is aimed to peak in time for the Worlds, she was particularly pleased with the 100m breaststroke where she swam her 4th fastest ever time. This surely bodes well for Claire’s medal chances in Montreal.
