Part-time IFA Administrator

A part-time IFA Administrator is required to join a boutique wealth management firm based near Solihull to provide administrative support to the MD (who is an IFA). The role will require at least 20 hours per week (more available if preferred) and the client is flexible as to how these hours are worked during the week. PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUS IFA ADMINISTRATION EXPERIENCE WITHIN A FINANCIAL PLANNING FIRM.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Scanning and uploading post and documents to back office system
  • Creating Template letters and general client correspondence via post and email
  • Creating client policy schedules
  • Creating client files for the Advisor
  • Submitting and processing client applications
  • Updating New Business and Financial Promotions Registers
  • Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly New Business and Account reports using back office systems
  • Data entry
  • Managing day-to-day client queries
  • Complying with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules at all times.
  • Complying with the relevant Compliance, TCF, T&C, financial crime and Anti-Money Laundering Procedures of the firm at all times.
  • Keeping up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes, as required.

You will have previous administrative experience within an IFA firm and will have a good knowledge of pensions and investments. You will ideally be working towards your Level 4 qualification (R01 and above desirable), but if not you must be willing to progress your career by undertaking relevant exams. In addition, you will need excellent communication and customer service skills and be highly IT literate, especially with MS Word and Excel.


Salary:£24000 - £28000 Per Annum pro rata
