Credit Risk Manager

Are you frustrated in your current role and know you could be adding more value? Or maybe it’s time to work for a company that truly values and rewards your input?

Perhaps you don’t have the autonomy that you desire. Or perhaps you simply feel you’ve taken your new role as far as you can and it’s time for a fresh challenge? Or is it simply that your efforts all too often go unrecognised?

You’ll be working for an established, ambitious FinTech operating in the consumer lending arena. It’s described by staff as being a business where everyone is seen as being integral to success, a genuinely exciting place to work and one where everyone has opportunities to develop and progress.

There will certainly be plenty of opportunity for you to add value. And your efforts will be recognised and rewarded. This is an employer that believes in ensuring everyone has the chance to unlock their true potential and thrive.

The business has grown extensively over the recent years and continues to do so. Growth creates opportunities. And that means this could be just the start of a long and successful career for you.

And then there’s their Glassdoor rating of 4.6/5 (that’s better than both Apple and Google)! That makes this one of the best places to work in the UK.

You’ll be using your experience in Credit Risk Management and knowledge of the full credit lifecycle to monitor the lending activities of the firm, ensuring it operates within the right credit risk framework. You’ll also develop advanced analytics and modelling of credit and retailer risk strategy and policies.

In addition you’ll develop, recommend and monitor risk strategies that maximise revenue whilst minimising bad debt and detrimental customer behaviours. You’ll also own both the external collections and the DCA placement strategy and work closely with finance to negotiate write-off process and advanced write-offs to improve debt sale price.

You’ll have gained your Credit Risk experience within a consumer lending environment and will have a sold working knowledge of SAS or SQL. You’ll also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and have a strong understanding of information management, data aggregation and manipulation.
