Financial Crime Data Governance Analyst (100% Remote Working)

I’m working exclusively with an innovative and ambitious boutique consultancy to recruit a Financial Crime Data Governance Analyst. The business works with Financial Services and FinTech clients within Financial Crime Risk Management, with a focus on the quality of data in line with BCBS 239 requirements.

This is a fully remote role where you can work from home all of the time and so you can be based anywhere in the UK. There is also good bonus potential on offer.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Identify key sources of data for clients’ Financial Crime Risk Management requirements
• Interrogate the data provided to ensure its quality
• Interrogate the MI providers to fully understand the source of the data, the data lineage and therefore its integrity
• Populate the reports with the appropriate data to meet reporting requirements for all relevant client committees
• Train clients’ staff on the use and interpretation of the MI provided
• Act as the main point of contact for client queries regarding the MI, data traceability etc.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will have previous experience within Data Governance / Data Quality and will also have a strong understanding of Financial Crime requirements and regulations. Strong analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of external stakeholders.
