Reporting into the Chief Risk Officer, you’ll be responsible for assessing and mitigating significant competitive, regulatory and technological threats to the firm’s capital and earnings.
Building and managing a small, dedicated Risk team, this is a very hands-on role that will see you delivering the Operational Risk framework for the business, ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, managing risks and providing assurance to the senior management team that all operations are in compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations.
You’ll be an experienced senior Risk specialist within the Financial Services arena, with previous Insurance experience being advantageous. You’ll have experience of developing and implementing Risk Management frameworks and have a proven track record of senior stakeholder engagement and management and possess excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills.
You must also be happy working in a hands-on manner – you’ll never be far from the coalface.
