Interim Compliance Manager

An Interim Compliance Manager is required by a leading Private Equity firm to provide an expert advisory service ensuring the business complies with all relevant legislation, regulations and codes of conduct. This is a 12-month fixed term contract and you can expect to split your time between the office (2 days a week) and home (3 days a week).

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining responsibility for the on-boarding of new clients, including providing advice on KYC/KYB/AML requirements and the timely completion of due diligence documentation.
• Assisting in the delivery of the Compliance Department’s Compliance Monitoring Plan (‘CMP’), which provides independent assurance that the Firm is meeting its regulatory obligations and has controls in place to reasonably mitigate compliance risk.
• Maintaining responsibility for the ongoing management of the Compliance inbox.
• Providing review and approval of financial promotions and marketing materials in line with Regulatory expectation.
• Assisting in monitoring internal systems and procedures, ensuring the company remains compliant, and report on any areas of concern.
• Assisting with internal and external audits.

You will have experience in a generalist Compliance role within the Financial Services arena. Previous Private Equity experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are a prerequisite for the role. You must also be available to start at short notice.
