Senior IFA Administrator

A Senior IFA Administrator is required by a growing national financial planning practice to provide a first class support service to the firm’s financial advisors. The client is based in North Birmingham. Please only apply if you have previous IFA Admin experience.

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Submission of new on line applications and processing of paper based applications for life, investment, platform and pensions business and ensuring that they are processed compliantly
  • Submission of new on line top up applications and processing of paper based top up applications for life, investment, platform and pensions business and ensuring that they are processed compliantly
  • Running comprehensive Intelligent Office (IO) activities for each piece of business whether it is new business, top ups and any other policy variations for example Change of DFM/Model, Fund Switches
  • Overseeing management of Annual Reviews and Portfolio Reviews that are due i.e. ensuring delivery and action by adviser and Review Team
  • Check Portfolio Reports prepared by Review Team
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, accountants, life offices, lenders and platform providers by telephone, e-mail, fax and letter
  • Handle complex administration enquiries
  • Provide training / mentoring to more junior staff when required
  • Obtaining life, investment and pension quotations using research tools
  • Presenting quotations to advisers along with relevant data and documents required for the advice to be provided

You will be an experienced IFA Administrator who is familiar with processing new business and experience of working with a variety of different platforms. Any previous experience of working with Intelligent Office  (IO) would be advantageous but is not essential. You will also need to be a team player with strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

Salary:£23000 - £30000 Per Annum + benefits
